A combination of hand painted silk charmeuse, cotton shibori fabric from Japan and stiching done in a subtle shade are combined to feature and highlight precious and treasured elements. The sashiko stick pattern-7 treasures og Buddha is combined with a simple grid to create a soft and supple garment that can be worn for any occasions. The rayon lining is stenciled and stamped with images and symbols that reflect my thoughts and emotions while while designing and constructing this garment. A sheer silk organza pocket containing treasures completes this very personal garment.
