Butterscotch sueded silt combined with overlays og embroidered silk organza is stitched in a variation of the sashiko pattern Mist to suggest gentle waves in water. Stitched dragoflies hover over the water duplicating the embroidered organza image. The Inner Life of this garment reflects my personal feelings and thoughts while designing and constructing the garment. Kasuni was created to accompany my article on Sashiko on Silk, witch appeared in Threads Magazine, November 2000, garment was featured on the cover of this issue.
