Textured white silk fabric has been painted, over-painted and glossed to achieve the depth of color to complement the vintage kimono fabrics featured in this garment. The sashiko stitch patterns are Blue Ocean Waves and Wicker Work. Hand painted vavet is used for binding and trim. Rayon lining is stenciled with pearl dragonflies creating the Inner Life. A treasure pocket of Japanese yukata fabric and a dragonfly charm complete the garment. This garment was featured in the November 2000, Issue 91, og Threads Magazine.
